Structured Project Management & Calm
We selected Blue Point Services in March-2020 for our major renovation in Hampton. Through the quote process Guy came with multiple options and ideas to bring the price to a point that it could fit our budget. He influenced our engineer and architect on some really good ideas achieving the similar result but far less expensive. This convinced us that Guy, and his company, was the right choice for us.
From the very start Guy demonstrated his calm, organised and structured project management style. During the build, all his team has handled the process with care, speed (delivered 1 month ahead of his schedule) and of very high quality.
Communication through the process was impeccable addressing each and every single issue in a timely matter.
We encountered multiple unforeseen challenges during the project however Guy and his team have managed relationships and complaints to leave us with minimal disruptions and stress.
The site and the house were left very clean (even the garden). We have achieved the dream of our lives thanks to Guy and friendly team. We are happy to showcase our place and talk about our experience. Very happy customers and highly recommend!!

From the beginning the communication was excellent, they were friendly, knowledgeable and involved us in all aspects so we felt like we were fully informed at all times. Exceptional Quality Delivered
We approached Guy with completed plans for an extension and complete interior renovation. I was immediately put at ease with Guy’s calm and considered approach and felt much more comfortable chatting directly with someone who knew the building process first hand. Other builders had told us we couldn’t achieve the level of finish and scale for our budget and most others felt like a sales front only to outsource to unknown contractors.
Not only did Guy and Chris meet every expectation of quality and finish we had hoped for, but honestly exceeded it and made it completely stress free along the way. Nothing was too hard for them – they took on all our requests and their attention to detail is impeccable. The team are great problem solvers and craftsman and you can tell they enjoy their work with pride. Rennovations are their sweet spot and they actually care about the results. I happened to be onsite for most of the build (working from a detached home office) – so I had the unique opportunity to see the build happen almost every day. I think what impressed me most was that literally every trade that came on site during the process was of the same quality. Each passionate and skilled in their trade – and genuinely nice and friendly people to boot! It’s clear Guy and Chris choose a team that they want to work with – and it shows. Each trade bringing their own ideas and problem solving to get the best result.
We couldn’t be happier with our new house. It’s been completely transformed and we haven’t had a single problem since moving back in. We’ve had nothing but compliments from friends, family and neighbours who have seen the results and some of the process. People are amazed at how smooth everything went.
I’d jump at the chance to work with Guy and Chris again – and certainly wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone wanting an honest and quality build … and meet some great people along the way!

We would recommend Guy and Chris at Bluepoint without a moments hesitation and we already have. What stood out for us the most was the exceptional communication that took place from the start to the end of our renovation. At the beginning Guy took the time to offer suggestions to help us stay within our budget and during the build he was proactive in keeping us informed of what was happening and when , always responding promptly to any questions. Nothing was too much trouble and no request too hard. Guy is easy going , calm and considered and a pleasure to deal with , making what can be a stressful time go smoothly. Extra Ordinary Service & Communication
We recently used the Bluepoint team for our major renovation – 2 new bathrooms, a new kitchen, reconfiguration of most of the internal walls, raising a floor and a new deck with alfresco roof. As well as being approachable, the team are true craftsmen with genuine pride in getting the best result for their clients in how things look whilst being pragmatic about the budget.
After unsuccessfully trying to get quotes from 4 different builders for several weeks, it was a breath of fresh air speaking to Guy who turned our quote around very quickly, spent time at the property with us talking about what we wanted to achieve and clearly wanted to help us get started as soon as possible & help get things moving.
Guy’s excellent communication skills were displayed throughout the project, his calming demeanor took the stress out of every decision, always taking the time to help us understand the options and work out the best move to make.On the every rare occasion he doesn’t answer the phone, he calls back very quickly which exceeded our expectations. For us, clear and easy communication was something we really wanted and was delivered alongside quality workmanship with a focus on working with a limited budget.
Guy also did additional things for us along the way (things we wouldn’t have thought to ask for) to make ensure a quality result (e.g. extra ceiling plastering to ensure no joins, lots of attention on the tiling to ensure a flush finish in all the areas where there were different width tiles and floor heights). We couldn’t be happier with the result and how the project went under Guy’s management.
Great & Extra Fast Service
I am planing for renovation and extension. I had some builders came over for a site visit which not every builder would do as the drawing is not ready. So I was grateful for all the builders have been here. Last week I visited a friend of mine who is currently having extension and renovation with Bulepointbuilding. My friend highly recommended it as they are doing a fantastic job at her place.
I contacted the director, Guy on Tuesday day and made an appointment for a site visit on Thursday.
He came here and spent over two hours compared with other builders who spent approximately 30-45 mins which I was already appreciated. I found that Guy who is a registered builder is not only very professional but also very easy to talk to, extremely patient and has a very caring nature. He did not only give me a lot of good ideas from his professional perspective but also gave me a lot of ideas to how to save the cost as well as to reach the best outcome from the project. I was so pleased with his attendance.
I would highly recommend him and his company to anyone who is looking for a professional, honest and reliable building company.

Responsive and On-Time Delivery
We engaged Blue Point to complete our build after our original builder collapsed. We think this is one of the best decisions we have made. Guy was a great calming presence through a very stressful situation. We also found Guy to be very transparent – about costs processes and timing and we felt he really had our interests at heart. We found his manner very comforting. Tim, our site manager, has also been excellent. He is very responsive, highly communicative and has been proactive in following up after they finished their job.
